Zappa9 is a cyborg with a relatively unknown history. After having his memory erased after being rescued by the cyborg-sympathetic RailRoad operatives, he was placed in the solace of Vault 98; it was a place for castaways.
Zappa9 has been doing odd jobs for his fellow inhabitants, but as one who requires little rest he has had much time to think. So when a fellow of his decides to depart from the Vault, he follows with haste.
